Arthur walked into the restaurant and started to ask himself why he ever agreed to go dating. Oh right...his friends dragged him into this. Because he would be more happier when he actually had someone special. The Brit sighed deeply and shrugged, like that was the reason. He looked across the restaurant. He was given a number and he was supposed to look for the person who had the same name number.

More and more Arthur started to think this was extremely stupid and there was no way he would meet someone nice. Though inside he prayed for it to be a nice, pretty girl who had the same number. He looked again at the paper. 7...that was a lucky number right? So he just had to have someone cute, right? Unfortunately Arthur didn't have a match with a nice and pretty girl but someone totally else. He was definately regretting it right now and stepped towards the other person.

[So after posting here you make a new thread for your date, right?]

Arista wasn't sure why she had signed up for this. Sure, it had sounded fun, but she should probably be back at work right now, finishing her paperwork and all of that fun stuff. Still, she had signed up and now had to go through with this. She looked down at h number before looking for the person with the matching number.

And frowning. Her date was Gilbert?....Fun. Sighing, she put a smile on her face and went over to him. She could get through this without getting mad at his destruction of priceless artifacts..hopefully.

((We should probably wait for our date to write their response before making the thread, writing the first post of that as a response to their response...if that makes sense))

Francis wasn't really a fan of speed-dating, to be honest. He much preferred getting to know the other person in a more relaxed and intimate setting, though he was still willing to give it a try. After all, it was an opportunity to get to know one of the guests (or one of his fellow employees for that matter). He glanced down at the piece of paper in his hand, staring at the scribbled '7' on it. Just when he looked back up, he caught sight of a hand holding a similar piece of paper, the same number written on it as well.

He smiled when he got a good look at the man approaching him, the look of regret in his eyes apparent to the Frenchman. Perhaps you were expecting a beautiful young woman? he thought, though not the least offended. He was more focused on the fact that the man was attractive, more than enough to change Francis' sentiment towards the activity.

"Bonjour," he greeted, still smiling serenely at the other. "So we'll be each other's first dates, oui?"

Just because Elizabeta wasn't exactly here for herself didn't mean that she couldn't dress up a little, right? Tugging at her green dress and laying a lock of brown hair to rest nicely on her shoulder, she convinced herself that there was absolutely nothing wrong with signing up for a night of speed dating, when she was just there to be a busybody and to watch everyone else. And if she found someone nice along the way, it'd be a bonus, right?

She stopped by the cork board at the entrance of the restaurant the museum had booked for the night, her eyes wandering over the paper. Everyone had previously been given a number, and nothing else. Today was the day that the identities of the first dates would be revealed.

Scanning the list, Elizabeta let a grin play upon her lips as she recognized some of the names. Oho. Noticing her own name, she read the adjacent one. Aldrick eh? Elizabeta didn't know much about him, but hey, this was speed dating. How bad could it be?

With that settled, her eyes roamed over the list again, a giggle escaping her lips. This was going to be an interesting night.

Aldrick sighed. It was only a sense of loyalty- no- guilt, that he signed up for this activity. But, weren't most single men with an average job at his age work driven recluses? It was indeed with great reluctance that he had left his apartment looking somewhat nice, nice enough for a date (not that he really knew how to dress for an informal date anyway).

Clenching the hand that held the tiny square of paper that had a scrawled number on it, Aldrick pushed a stray lock of blond hair behind his ear, and walked into the restaurant. Already, many people had arrived, and they congregated near a corkboard which apparently had the date list.

This wasn’t really the sort of way Lars usually met his lovers. Though once he had seen the ad, he had signed up anyway. From what he had heard there were often pretty girls floating around that were to insecure to approach a man in a different situation. So Lars had decided to give it a try.

He looked at the list to see who he was paired up with. Antonio Fernandez Carriedo. First thing he noticed: That was a really long name. Next thing he noticed: it wasn’t a girl’s name. Damn.

The Dutchman looked around for the guy who matched his number, spotting him not to far away. He looked vaguely familiar. Maybe someone he’d seen at the job? Lars hadn’t been working at the museum for that long yet, so he wasn’t sure. Non the less, he approached the guy.

“Antonio?” He inquired about the man’s name. “I’m Lars. You’re stuck with me for the next fifteen minutes.” It wasn’t the most cheerful greeting ever, but that was just the way Lars was.

With a yawn, Gilbert entered the area for speed dating. It wasn't that he needed help with getting a lover, not that he really wanted one to be completely honest, but he thought he would sign up for it anyways. Besides, it would be amusing to see what kind of people showed up for this sort of thing, if only to make fun of those that he knew. He looked around for some sort of chart or whatever he was supposed to read to find his date, but judging by the crowd of people that were looking over at the wall, it seemed like it would take a while.

He was just going to sit back for a while and wait it out when he was approached by... Arista Karpusi? She was going to be his date? He didn't know what to think of it, so he just shrugged and gave her a nod.
