Hometown: Arthur was brought up in London, England and has lived all of his life there until rather recently. He studied at a University in London and has recently decided to get as far away from his blasted hometown as possible, and decided to come over to America. He enrolled for work at a Museum, having studied History, American included in one of his modules, and thus became Curator of The Museum Of American History. When he's having a break, however, he rather enjoys his strolls around the other museums, exploring what there is to offer.[/s]

Personality: [i] Arthur, at first, comes off as a more aloof of characters; he is polite, does not tend to take life too lightly, and is prone to complaints and arguments if provoked in the correct way. To most people he is cynical and has a sharp tongue. However, he believes himself to be a true gentlemen and can really act so, even though he is prone to swearing quite frequently - however, he represses any such urge in public or where appropiate... generally.

He does hold a more caring and loyal side that doesn't show too often; except in the realms of people (or in some cases, things) that he cares about. or his 'friends'. He is very superstitious and believes in folklore and fairies and all sorts of magic and mystical things, thus leaving to people thinking he's a bit spacey and more than a little weird if they ever get to discover this. He tends to deny it, however.

He tends to lose things rather easily. He is also quite pessimistic, but to the public, he will come off as a well-mannered gentleman who seems happy to help.

He is also determined, quite independent (maybe even a loner, even though he fears being alone) and is rather bad at showing his feelings to people. He tends to keep himself to himself and can get quite defensive. He also values tradition and can also come off as old fashioned and rather.. well, camp.



Looks and Appearance: Green eyes, much like the emerald, and he tends to wear rather formal clothes, even out of his workclothes. He is very pristine and rather old fashioned in his fashion tastes.

Job: Curator. He tends to do a lot of work within the public, however, as while he his rather reserved in nature, he likes to see people's reactions and wonders as they discover more and more about history, especially if it's their own.

Job History: Arthur grew up as a pretty average London English Boy. He worked in a friend's bookshop for a few years while he was working in University and did Visit the National History Museum in London rather often. He didn't know his father too well so he couldn't follow after any business of his, which is half the reason. A common customer into the bookshop where he worked at may have been American, hence his influence to go to America after he left University.

-Losing people close to him
-Having no control over his own situation.
-His brothers mocking him for what he does and loves and believes in.

Other:
His grandmother was a florist. His older siblings also used to bully him, which is another reason why he got away from England. He also can't tell the difference between American and Canadian accents yet. He also EFFING LOVES TEA. He lives on his own, in an apartment not far from the museum itself.
